Analytic Geometry Problem Set
I really need help in solving this problem I don't how to do some of it. Please.
Problem 1:
A line passes through point (2,2). Find the equation of the line if the length of the line segment intercepted by the coordinate axes is the square root of 5.
Problem 2:
What is the equation of the line bisecting the bigger angle formed by the intersection of the lines 2x-y+2=0 and 2x+y-4=0?
Problem 3:
The points P(-3, 6), Q(1,-5), R(7, 2) are vertices of a triangle. Find the interior angles.
a force of a baseball swing. a baseball ha mass 0.145 kg
a. if the velocity of a pitched ball has a magnitude of 45.0 m/s and the batted ball's velocity is 55 m/s in the opposite direction, find the magnitude of the change in momentum of the ball and of the impulse applied to it by the bait.
b. if the ball remains in contact with the bat for 2 m/s, find the magnitude of the average force applied by bat.
a soccer ball with mass 0.420 kg is initially moving with speed 2.00 m/s. a soccer player kicks the ball, exerting a constant force of magnitude 40.0 N in the same direction as the ball's motion. over what distance must the player's foot be in contact with the ball to increase the ball's speed to 6.00 m/s?
A rectangular container, with a height of 24 in., contains 44.9 gal of water when it is full. A stick is placed diagonally from one corner of the upper base as shown. If BC = 10in., AC= 25in. and is a point indicating the water level, find the height and volume of the liquid in the container.
A 3-inch diameter hole is drilled 6 inches deep into the center and normal to the top face of a brass cube 8 inches on a side. The hole is filled with lead. If the brass weighs 525lb/ft^3 and the lead weighs 705lb/ft^3 Find the total mass of two metals.
PS: I can't imagine the drawing.
A chemical plant requires a water supply of 12m^3/hr. Suppose the rate of flow in the water pipe is 2m/sec. Find the radius of the pipe to be used in centimeters.
