when the acceleration is constant (uniformly accelerated motion)

a) v = Vot + at
b) s = Vot + 1/2 at
c) v^2 = Vo ^2 + 2as

acceleration (a)

a) a= d^2x/dt = d^2s/ dt

b) a= vdv /dx = vdv / ds
